Hi, I’m Lisa.

I’m a financial advisor, a partner, a parent, and someone who knows firsthand how complicated and emotional money can be in relationships.

That’s why I’m passionate about creating a supportive, non-judgmental space where we can unpack the tension, shame, and emotional layers that often come with managing money together.

As a registered financial advisor with a background in therapeutic tools, I’ve supported dozens of individuals and couples in navigating their emotions and money. I am completing a graduate certification in Financial Psychology and have completed the Gottman Method Couples Therapy Level 1 Training. My firm, Shift to Impact, helps clients align their money with their values through impact investing and redistributing excess income.

In addition to my financial planning work, I’ve taught a university course on impact investing, led workshops on community banking and small business finances, and facilitated discussions on divestment and social responsibility.

“Lisa brings an essential levity and emotional intelligence to hard conversations, and made sure both my wife and I were listened to and supported throughout. She has been a great stress-reliever in our lives, and I absolutely recommend her.

Working with Lisa has been hugely educational and brought a lot of clarity to our financial situation and goals. For the first time, we’ve been able to track our financial future. Lisa added much-needed structure to that planning and masterfully put it all into spreadsheets that tracked the discussions we’ve had.” -Sam
